Day: 1 Arrival Arusha

Day 2: Arusha- Tarangire

This Morning with your personal driver-guide you’ll head to Tarangire National Park, the park is characterized by giant Baobao trees and big herds of Elephant Game viewing in the park.Overnight Maramboi Tented Lodge

Day 3: Tarangire

Full day game drive in Tarangire. The park is renowned for its huge herd of elephant. The elephant population in the park estimated to be over 4,500. Tarangire is also a bird lover’s paradise, with about 450 species.Overnight Maramboi Tented Lodge

Day 4 Tarangire- Manyara

Today you will spend the day in Lake Manyara National Park This relatively small wilderness reserve was named after the alkaline lake filled with thousands of flamingos roaming the banks for food and hippos bathing in the water. However, the most famous inhabitants of this park are the tree-climbing lions. Picnic lunch in the park. In the Afternoon proceed towards Karatu town.Overnight: Ngorongoro Farm House

At the Ngorongoro Farm House, you will live the legendary atmosphere of past times on a colonial-style coffee plantation. Take a walk around the farm to contemplate the daily activities, relax in the fragrant gardens.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater

Leaving early in the morning with picnic lunch, you will spend most of the day game driving on the floor of the crater. The bottom of the crater dotted with watering-holes, shelter almost 30,000 animals in an area naturally enclosed by the slopes of the volcano. Covering an area of 259 sq.kms and standing at 2236m above the sea level, it is called the eighth wonder of the world.Overnight :Ngorongoro Serena Lodge

Day 6: Ngorongoro – Serengeti

This morning you will leave the highlands for the vast plains of the Serengeti. Serengeti means endless plains in the Maasai language, an appropriate word to describe the largest Tanzania National park. The park is famous for its incredible variety of wildlife species, huge herds of wildebeest and zebra, predators such as lions, cheetahs, leopard, this is undoubtedly one of the most authentic and exciting safari experience that is possible to enjoy. Your accommodation is a luxury mobile camp, from late December to March in the Ndutu area, from July to October in the Kogatende area, Northern Serengeti.Overnight: Lake Masek Tented Lodge

Day 7:Ndutu- Serengeti

In the first months of the year the migration reaches the short grass between the Serengeti plains and the Ngorongoro conservation area, it is also the calving season of up to 800,000 wildebeest an zebra. Your camp is ideally located between the Serengeti plains and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. From February till March, this is the prime position to be near the millions of animals making up the Great Migration.

After spending the west season on the short grass Serengeti plains, the wildebeest move northwards, reaching the Mara River between July and November, your campsite is exceptionally well placed for wildebeest crossings of the Mara River.Overnight Katikati or Katikati Serengeti

Day 8 :Serengeti - Kigali

After breakfast, you’ll enjoy a morning game drive followed by lunch at your camp. After lunch, drive to the nearest airstrip for your flight to Kigali operated by Coastal Aviation. Stop at Mwanza airport for Immigration formalities ( Tanzania). Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel.Overnight at Kigali Marriott Hotel

Day 9:Kigali to Volcanoes National Park

After breakfast, half-day city tour, including the genocide museum/memorial, then we drive to Kinigi Via Ruhengeri. The road to Ruhengeri is sealed offering stunning scenery of the hills and valleys this green and lush country, taking a little more than 2 hours. From Ruhengeri, we have a 20-minute drive to Kinigi at the base of Sabyinyo Mountain, with excellent views of the rest of all the Virunga Volcanoes.Overnight at Five Volcanoes Boutique Hotel

Day 10 :Gorilla tracking

After breakfast, we take a short drive to Park Headquarters and meet with excellent local guides and trackers who will give a talk on the etiquette of gorilla trekking. Then hike into the forest to where the gorilla is seen the night before and track from that point. The trekking can take from 1 to 6 hours and climb to an altitude, not in excess of 7,500 feet. In the afternoon, if time weather permits, visit the twin lakes Burera and Ruhondo or the local markets in the Musanze town.Overnight at Five Volcanoes Boutique Hotel

Day 11:Volcanoes National Park Kigali

After an early breakfast, drive to volcanoes National Park HQs for the start of your golden monkey tracking or Dian Fossey hike experience. Following lunch, drive back to Kigali and check in to your hotel for overnight.BL Overnight at Kigali Marriot hotel
